First, adoption is a very serious thing to consider before acting. You do not want to make a rash decision that could have a long-term effect on a child’s welfare. IF you are sincere and determined in your wishes to adopt a stepchild, then you should not rush into it.

After completion of the adoption agreement, a form needs to be signed in the Californian court according to Californian Adoption Law called Adopt – 315, which states the request to enforce, change or end contact after adoption. Adoption is a very big step and it is very difficult to let go off your biological parents, even if you do not know your parents that well. This forms requests the court on the behalf of the adoptive parents to enforce the change or end contact with biological parents after adoption.
